Identify the shape of the pan
Measure your toilet pan
Toilet seats come in different shapes to fit different toilets pans,
and only a matching shape will fit properly.

Universal shaped
Place your tape measure at the centre of the mounting holes (at the
rear of the bowl) and measure to the front edge of the pan.

D-shaped
Measure across the widest part of the bowl.

Measure the distance centre-to-centre of the two mounting bolts at
the back.

How your toilet seat attaches to the toilet pan
Pass the bolts through the base plate. Turn the base plate until
the bolts line up with the pan fixing holes. Tighten the bolts (either
from the top or the bottom). Rotate the lugs to secure them into the
seat’s mounting holes.
Bottom Fix
This is where the bolts are accessed from underneath the pan to
secure the seat.
Top Fix
This is where you use a top-fitting grommet to secure the seat from
above the pan.
Hinge lugs – insert into the seat.
